Let me start by saying I have known Mr. Morris (Morry) Newman for over twenty years and I can say that nobody knows the banking and mortgage business like Morry. Morry is a numbers guy. For those that find the home buying process overwhelming, Morry breaks it down in its simplest form and turns all negative aspects into a positive.
I was a Police Officer in South Florida for years before joining the US Department of Justice. After joining the federal government, my family and I moved out to California where we lived for approximately 17 years. When the opportunity came up for me and my family to move back to South Florida to finish out my career, I took full advantage. I immediately called Morry and told him that I was selling my house in Southern California, moving back to South Florida, and needed to get pre-approved for a home loan. I told him my price point and what I was going to be putting down on the new house. He discussed details with me and my wife about the differences between types of loans and what was most beneficial for me and my family’s financial situation.
